Water Quality Instruments

San Luis Bay station uses an Aanderaa conductivity, temperature and depth sensor equipped with a dissolved oxygen optode, a turbidity, and a Wetlabs Eco-FLS chlorophyll fluorometer.

On-Line CICORE Data

All sites distribute the following in situ water quality data: water temperature, conductivity, salinity, and pressure (depth). Additional parameters include local currents, dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, and chlorophyll fluorescence, and hydrocarbon fluorescence. Monitoring sites with weather stations distribute wind speed and direction, relative humidity, air temperature, photosynthetically active radiation (PAR), precipitation and barometric pressure data.
