SDSU CHORS team measures inherent optical properties of coastal waters to validate hyperspectral imagery (HSI) and develop algorithms to derive biogeochemical characteristics of coastal waters from HSI. CHORS also provides the CICORE institutions with HPLC pigment analyses and quality control for in situ radiometry and inherent optical properties measurements.
