CICORE uses three core technologies to conduct research, monitor the coastal ocean, and enhance sustainable use and public awareness of the coastal zone:

• High resolution acoustic bathymetry and habitat mapping
• High resolution airborne hyperspectral imagery
• In-situ water quality and meteorological monitoring

These three data streams can be used independently or fused to create powerful digital information products to assess and monitor the coastal zone and foster scientific investigation.
